"The principle of equality between men and women in Morocco was established in the Constitution of 2011 and more specifically in Article 19: "Men and women shall equally enjoy rights and liberties having a political, economic, social, cultural and environmental character, which are stated in this title and in the other provisions of the Constitution, as well as in the international covenants and conventions duly ratified by the Kingdom, in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution, with the constant values and laws of the Kingdom. The Moroccan government works to achieve parity between men and women. For this purpose, an Authority for Parity and for the Fight against all Forms of Discrimination has been created. ".
